Xperia XA2 Volume Down button damaged

Hi - I dropped my phone and it is damaged where the down volume button is - I can't get the phone out of safe mode because it constantly thinks I'm holding down the button.  Is there another way to force the phone out of safe mode?  I can't find my proof of purchase and a mobile repair centre cannot fix this issue.

Hi @LSalmon, sorry to hear about this.

If the volume down button is pressed down during the start-up, you will end up in safe mode, so in your case, you won't be able to get out of it, apart from having the volume down button fixed.

Regarding the proof of purchase, do you know which store you bought the device at? If you do, you can try to contact them and ask them if they can give provide you with a receipt of the purchase.
