Have you done a phone restart yet? I was having the same issue with my Malibu. It wasn't connecting at all. i did a soft reboot of the phone while in the car, and bingo, the phone found it.
I tried several times but no luck..I don't know if anyone from Sony is really monitoring these forums.sad.this phone is more $700 ,I have a 10GB data plan and have not been able to use it on while driving..total waste of money..
