I am having an issue with my fingerprint scanner. The scanner itself works fine (for unlocking the phone) however, when I use the scanner for logging in to apps (ex. PayPal) it wont work.
I noticed that this happens after I register the fingerprint in the phone settings and in the app of choice that supports it and reboot the phone. The scanner either does not recognize the fingerprint and returns an error message (which is fine) or it does recognize the fingerprint but does not do anything when it comes to the app (no error message, no action within the app).
I am convinced that this is software related issue since the scanner works fine for unlocking the phone and even for the use in apps, but after the phone gets rebooted it stops working in apps (if I delete the fingerprint, add it again and register it in the app it starts working again).
