Does anyone know if a Bluetooth receiver adapter can be connected  to the portable Wireless Handy TV speaker, making it a multifunctional speaker, eg streaming music from iPhone?

Hi Roachill, this portable speaker has 3 ports at the back of it 
2 on the cradle which are 3.5mm Stereo Mini Jack x1, Optical x1 
1 on the speaker which is 3.5mm Stereo Headphone x1.

You won't be able to plug a Bluetooth receiver adapter to any of those ports.
