MEX N7300BD USB issue

Hi - I have a MEX N7300BD and have copied MP3 files to a USB device to plug into the head unit. The USB has 1000's of MP3s onit but the head unit will only recognise the first 250 or so songs and then goes back to song No. 1, its not registering the other songs - any ideas?

Maybe the list view/player has some sort of hard limit, have you tried splitting them into folders for example?

On the other hand, in case it was the USB device itself, have you tried using another one?
