Earpads of WH-1000XM3 headphones peeled-off horribly - FAKE leather!

Dear Sony, the Earpads of my WH-1000XM3 headphones have cracked & peeled off, after 2 years of very light use. I wear them for 2 hours, every other day. Reviewing the specs on Sony's website, I see the earpads are made of "urethane", which is paint stamped onto fabric to FAKE the look of leather. How cheap & deceiving is that !!?  I bought 2 pairs of headphones assuming their Earpads were durable real leather...well, they are NOT. Huge design mistake to use Urethane paint, sooner or later it cracks & peels-off. Moving on...

- Where can I get 2 pairs of Earpad replacements (natural fabric or real leather) that fit my WH-1000XM3 headphones?

Sony do not respond on this forum, we are all Sony product users that try to help each other.

It sounds like you are insinuating that Sony are in someway deliberately misleading 

customers regarding these headphones.

This is obviously not the case. You yourself have said that you only reviewed the specs 2 years after owning them, not before purchasing them. There is a lesson to be learned there.

The advert for the headphones does not say that they are leather anywhere. 

It states "Super soft, pressure-relieving earpads in foamed urethane evenly distribute pressure and increase ear pad contact for a stable fit." 

It is YOUR opinion that it "is paint stamped onto fabric to FAKE the look of leather."

Sony does not state that in the advert. 

Whilst of course you may be upset that the earpads have cracked or peeled, Sony do not offer 'Leather' replacements. You may be able to find non-Sony replacement earpads online but they will obviously affect the quality of audio and noise cancelling as they are not designed by Sony and I don't believe you can efficiently repair them yourself. 

My advice is to contact Sony Support regarding this, here regarding repair options.

I agree with @jumpsuit on this one honestly ''which doesn't happen often XD''. I think all their headphones are made using synthetic material for years now, and if my guess is correct it's not because they're cheap, but because there's a lot of vegans/vegetarians, so you don't really wanna sacrifice a huge portion of the market over the materials being used. 
It's one of these things that you might not really like, but it's a reality for every single manufacture out there. 

But yea if you want to replace them, contact Sony directly and they should be able to help with this one.
