WEP key isn't memorised

The WEP key isn't memorised by the system xp.pro when i enter it at properties of the network name.

What can be wrong ?

How can i make it memorize ?

You use WEP with an 128 Bit key?

The password must have exectly 13 signs!

But I don't know what is your problem.
You must describe the problem more exectlier.

1. go to the systemconfiguration
2. network connections
3. doubleclick your WLAN
4. click attributes
5. click WLAN networks
6. go to your network and click attributes
7. by the network authenti..... you must use OPEN
8. by the network coding....... you must use WEP
9. the last ist your network key (look at the manual from the router
(or have you a other key? The on the router and the WLAN-card must be same)

(but I have a german winXP, and why you use WEP?)

WEP is a old standard end isn't save.
Use WPA!
