Hi Bill
Welcome to Club Vaio,
Download the Preinstalled Utilities for your FE21B from Vaio-Link, once downloaded extract and then install the following, in order.
1 Sony Utilities
2 Sony Shared Library
3 Vaio Event Service
Once completed then re-boot your vaio.
You may have to do this more than once..:smileywink:
thank you very much
i will do it,and hopefully it will work
cheers
You're welcome, let us know if it solves your problem..
i downloaded the file that you told me, but for some reason, i dont know why
i cannot unzip it
it says that is corrupted
no matter how many times i download it,it keeps saying the same thing
any idea?
i downloaded and this time the zip file was ok
i did as u said, i installed what you told me,but unfortunatelly the problems persists..i dont know what else to do
thanks all the same though my friend
I have the same problem.im not sure if you have disabled any services on your laptop but i think it might be to do with one service that is disabled. I have tried to enable those that I think might be causing the problem but the volume level indicator does not appear. If you have disabled some services then maybe you can try re-enabling them and seeing if it fixes the problem. I will give it a try when I have a bit of time, but if you find the service (if its the result of a disabled service) then it would be helpful to several users if you post this. or if anybody has any solutions then it would also be appreciated
