Ok VAIO Pocket, I can hear the audio, but where's the video.
I really don't think they've should've called it VAIO pocket, since it can't even show video files.

Well, I have a VP, and I'm happy with it!
Overpriced : Not at all, I bought my 40GB version for £225, and Walkman NW-HD3 20GB is selling for £215 at the moment.
Overrated : Maybe it was, and maybe it can do better, I mean it can do better, but SONY is concerned about COpyrights, and doesn't let it's products reach their potentials. With a bit better programing, it'll be the best ever! (iPod photo is more over-rated in my opinion, because iPod photo has a 65K colour LCD , but VAIO Pocket has a great 256K colour LCD! and battery life of VAIO pocket is 35% more!, and iPod is from apple as well )

hey pal,you bought your vaio pocket to store and playback your music,show pictures and be an external hard drive.nobody said anything about video playback and as perfect as that would be,vp was never combined with video playback.

you knew what it could do before you bought it,well now you did so appreciate it for what it is and stop asking for more!!!

or just go buy the new PCVA-HVP20 if you want videos that much!:smileyangry:

Erm, you knowMadarbWot, his point is, VAIO POCKET is standing for this :
Video Audio Integrated Operation POCKET!
He means he can hear the music, so it's the audio integrated part, but where is the Video integrated part of it ? because the name is including both Audio and Video!
And I have to agree with him, because the name is something that doesn't completely match the device!

Giving an opinion will always spawn reactions like these, like I said. if it hasn't got any videofunctions why should it wear the VAIO brand: It stands for VIDEO audio integrated Operation.
AIO would've been a nice name.
You just need to cool down a little, pal. Last time I was here in this forum people were able to express their opinions with out anybody shouting at them.

i apologize to foxhound for my behaviour...
you are indeed right about the VAIO naming subject.
but you have to at least respect that other people like their vp as it is.
im not saying it wouldnt be nice to have video but its nice enough this way!
and i responded like this because i see people coming to the forum and saying that they hate vp and they prefer ipod and whatever...well if you dont like the vp just dont buy it or dont come here complaining!
as for my communication,it is fine when there is no reason to be otherwise[f.ex. the reason stated above] and you can see that in all my replys and posts
