Hello!
Does anybody have output quality issues on the Vaio FZ series? Our portuguese design agency own a FZ11S and FZ11Z and both of them got a blured VGA out.
It's more noticeable on older monitors like the Sony SDM-HS75P and slighty better but still blured on a DELL 2007WFP.
I'm wondering if anybody have the same problem. I sent a message to vaio-link support and they asked me to reinstall the Graphics Card Driver but no luck.
It might be a Nvidia driver problem, because the original drivers that came with the FZ series are still in beta.
Since the quality issue happens on both notebooks, I omitted the hardware problems.
If anybody have a FZ series notebook, check the VGA-out, please!
Probably a driver problem but have you got it at the maximum resolution for the monitors that you are trying to use?

Is the connector pushed tightly into the port as this could be causing this?
If that seems ok i would wait for the final release driver and then see if it is still a problem.

Update...
This time things get worse!
I've been viewing at the properties in cape verde website and I can see some kind of refresh thing on the vga extended monitor!!!
Besides the blured image, now I got refresh rate problem and it shouldn't happen in a TFT monitor!
What Version of the Forceware Driver have you got installed?

There are now several up-dated Beta nVidia drivers available that are newer than your installed driver!
If the VGA problem you have is causing you difficulties, you may like to try an update - you can download them from here: -

http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers/vista
Remember you will need to download the seperate .INF file and add it to the extracted driver download or it will not recognise your nVidia GeForce 8400M GT.
Keep the original driver so you can 'roll-back' to the present driver if you choose.
