hi ya,i have this vaio ZIRM, now the problem is that sometimes the system doesnt "standby" or "hibernate" when it should have after some period of inactivity.the powerporfile is set to have the system standy by after 5 mins,hibermnate after 10 mins hard disk standy after 5 mins.now this sometime works perfectly in time and sometime doesnt work at all.
Can anyone tell me why is so? though i leave the system without any program or application running.or some program which might be running in the background block the system to go on standy??????? i have no clue.I have tried rebooting the system thinking any background application might be a cause but even after reboot it doesnt.
