I own the Vaio TX1XP since December 2005. Can't complain, after hard treatment i consider it as one of the best notebooks ever made.
Today appeared the first serious problem. The laptop restarts or freezes when i touch it to a specific place. To be more specific when i try to hold it from the left side or even when i try to push smoothly the plastic on the left side (few centimetre left of the touchpad, where the SD/memory stick reader is located), it dies.
So i guess whatever its located under this place has been moved/damaged/whatever. My Vaio is not under warranty and i really cant afford 200-300 euro for the service 😞 So i am thinking of fixing it myself(i have a few experience on hardware stuff).
Do u guys know where i can find some info in order to open the case and try to save my vaio? Or any other clues?
