UPDATED: HOW TO GET 1080P WORKING WITH VISTA

Updated inf file attached to work with the new nVidia beta drivers:

Tested with English UK driver versions.

inf supports:
NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 GT (ARXXS series)

Still no joy on AR21M though (7600 Go). The driver fails to install..

Probably the modded inf is not the only modification needed...

That really surprises me. Can you PM we with an inf file from the Nvidia drivers you currently have installed i.e. the Sony supplied ones?

I'll check the settings are correct and we can take it from there.

However, I am currently using the latest availiable driver from SONY (98.13)

You can open the exe file with winrar. i believe the relevant file is nvsz.inf

An error message appears that states incompatibility with Vista and then the system reverts back to the original Vista Driver...

OK last try. Use the attached file. Make sure you are using 158.45 beta drivers. They should be the International (UK) version.

If this doesn't work then it looks like the driver package doesn't support that graphics card.

I'm using the right drivers, but nope, still fails to install, with a different error message though: Cannot find the file specified..


Probably some other AR21M owner might want to have a go..

In last thread you posted I've tryed your file for my Vaio XL 302 that use 7600 GTL without success.
Do you have an updated file for 158.45 beta drivers that I can test ?

PS: do you know which updated audio driver I can install ? I've a segmatel sound reality audio drivers but I don't know witch version of audio card is installed on Vaio XL 302.
