Unable to view certain images on internet pages

When I view many webpages certain (but not all) images on the page do not show on my screen...instead they just show either a blank screen or (usually) a small box with a red "X".

I cannot click on this "x" to view the image and cannot right click to view the images. I have checked through my Internet settings but cannot find anything which enables these images from the Internet.

Please help me, it's driving me crazy.

I presume you are using Internet Explorer.

I would suggest that you use Firefox as it is much more stable and will hopefully solve your problem.
