The value of VAIO

Has anyone experience of deleting all reference to VAIO and seeing how they get by without it? Seems to me having bought it installed that it is very much duplicatng all that is done adequately by Windows 7.

Deleting Vaio applications should cause no problems but there are a number of utilities and drivers  that control functionality of special buttons and function keys - in short don't delete 'anything' with a Vaio reference - research fiirst...
