start of mediaservers requires administrator rights

After a painfull upgrade process to Vista Ultimate the only open issue is: When I´m trying to start mediasever (program is running) an error message appears " starting the media server requires Admin rights" - actually under my vista login I have admin rights!
Any ideas?

In vista UAC reduces your user level to user unless you specify otherwise. Right-click on the program you want to start and click "Run as Administrator". If this works then you can change the properties so that it always runs it with these settings.

What are you truing to run?

Is it vista compatable?

I try to start the server (which is a function inside the program media console) whilst the server is in stop mode.
