i have some probs with my USB and my Cardreader. The highest rate i've ever got was 2 MB/s!! 😞

Perhaps here's somebody with the same probs?!

What type of card are you reading. Memory Stick and memory stick pro cards usually works at 2Mb/s when transfering many smaller files but will work faster when transfering a larger file.

What kind of files are you trying to transfer to you device?

I have an external drive capable of doing 20-40MB/s but when transfering files of 2 or 3MB the max transfer rate is only about 1 file a second. If you transfer files that are larger ie. 500MB then it will work at a much faster rate.

Has it always been slow?

Windows Vista's file transfer is very slow indeed.
