I've had two VGN A217M. On the first the CD / DVD drawer would not open. On the second the screen would dim then brighten even though the surrounding light was not changing and the light sensor was not being obstructed. Both machines were faulty.
Sony have had the laptop close to 3 months. They do not respond to my e-mail or telephone calls, and have not remedied the problem. So much for the Customer Satisfaction feature of their Corporate website!:
'We will listen carefully to Customers voice'
'We will strive to earn Customers trust'
'We will provide unique and high quality products and services'
I think not!!!
Thats unacceptable.
Maybe you need to speak with your solicitor, they shouldn't have it this long without contacting you.
