Problems with Activesync

I need to connect my M1 VAIO to my PDA (IPAQ4770) and my smartphone (Sony P900). The conection softwares and cradles semm to be correctly installed, but connection is not possible. The Acctivesync is not able to connect.
USB ports seem to work correctly (printer & modem work perfectly).
