PCV-RXM22 and DVD-Burner

Problem with Rewritables

With my burner it is not possible to write DVD-RW. The error message is that I have to clean the DVD or take a DVD from a different manufactorer .

Than I tried a CD-RW with the Program "record now" and this didn't work either. The burner needs a long time ti initialize and abborts with message, that I have to insert a CD-RW

Can someone help me ? Has someone the same problem ?

Have you tired diffrent Media?

If your drive reads and writes other discs fine, chances are the DVD-RW you are trying with is not ok.
