MAC OSX and Sony VP?

Hi there!

Is there any chance of using the VP on a Mac?
If I connect the VP to the MAC it is not recognized (OS 10.39).
And the biggest trouble how can I transfer Music from my Mac to the VP without using Sonic Stage. Or is there any SonicStage Version for Mac avaiable?

THX!

P.S.: Please excuse my rusty school english!

I really don't think you can, no one has written an application for OSX and Sony only usually only write for Windows 2000 and XP now.

iPod is much better and integrates superbly with iLife and the mac computers

I agree with the integration, but quite disagree about the ipod being the ultimate Mac solution. Practically any UMS-compliant mp3 jukebox will be usable with MacOS X, and many of these are much more interesting in many ways than the iPod (to name only a few: Archos GMini400 series or AV Series, iAudio with their M3 and X5 series, etc.).

It's the best software wise, on the Mac, as the others mainly concentrate on the PC platform

If only the quality of iPod hardware was as good as the software/design... anyway, as for UMS type mp3 players working on all OSs, that's fine if it's a drag and drop system, but the VP most certainly isn't. I don't know much about OS X but at a guess the only way would be to use SS through a PC emulator, hardly ideal. Unless Real or MusicMatch give in to requests and make a VP plugin, there's a thread with links to request those features on another thread.

Yeah it would work if RealNetworks do make the plugin

I'm not a MAC expert but... what about Virtual PC?
