Hi Evoss-X and welcome.

First check you actually have two physical drives. I know the AW11Z has 2 X 320GB drives but this is not the case for all AW Vaios. It is more common to have one Drive split into two or more partitions (Recovery, C:\, D:\ etc).

Check in the BIOS if RAID is an available feature. Sometimes Sony only include the RAID Controller on Vaios with RAID installed when bought.

If the answer to both the above is yes, you will need to make at least two sets of Recovery Discs because you must format both drives if you want RAID 0 and reinstall everything in RAID format onto blank hard drives with RAID enabled. It is quite a big job and quite complicated because of the need to wipe both discs.

Hello
Thank you very much for your information
Sorry am new to this vaio forum but am too old and experienced to vaio aw and the others laptops .. I replaced almost everything in my aw11s/b ..cpu ram ssd wi-fi link
(trying to find avermedia digital tuner)
and I have ordered second sata cable for second bay in vaio ...
And one guy he own aw11z/b and he cannot run raid but probably he needs format all hdds/ssds like u said ..
So if the everest software showing me this : PCI-E 1.0 x1 port 5 In Use @ x1 (JMicron JMB368 SATA-II RAID Controller) it should work ?

Should be OK.

Is there the option to turn on RAID or show RAID configuration in the BIOS?
