Just took delivery of my new baby - T1XP. Thought it worth highlighting a couple of the registration oddities.

In the questionnaire, it asks where you bought your computer. In my case I bought from an online retailer. I ticked that. Nevertheless I was forced to reply to the question following which didn't apply to me (it said, if you bought from a shop... I didn't, but had to lie to fill it in to be able to process the registration).

The questionnaire also asks if this is your first laptop OR is it replacing your existing VAIO? What about people like me for whom this is an additional not replacement computer. I know many people like me who buy different VAIOs for different purposes. The form needs an additional choice to reflect that.

Hope he sees this, a lot of the time posts get lost in the mele of other posts and no one really bothers.

I am not going to buy a new computer until Longhorn comes out, because Sony aren't going to make an upgrade package.
