hi i have bought my laptop 7 month ago. i did not write any dvd and cd in my laptop because i dont know where is the my burnign software . my laptop is SZ 2XP .Is the dvd write software comes with the laptop or i will download from internet. I have some dvd 4.7GB DVD-R 1-16 Data/Video . i tried to burn them with the window media player but i couldnot .Can you pls let me know how i burn them

The main burning softwares are Nero, Roxio, Ashampoo etc.

Do you have Roxio in your program list? That will burn dvd.

You can burn cd-roms just by right clicking a file and sending it to your drive using Windows.

Nero is well worth the money and has all the functions you will ever need.

Here is some free burning software, sounds good but personally i haven't tried it.
