DVB-T to XL302

Can anyone explain how must i connect my DVB-T console to view tv through VAIO? The TV provider tells that it is imposible. Their console has only one HDMI conection and they say it must be connected directly to TV 😞

Hi Evaldaslk and welcome to Club Vaio.

If your DVB-T Console only has a HDMI output, then your TV provider is right because your Vaio does not have a HDMI input.

Your Vaio does have its own DVB-T tuner (two in fact) and can decode Digital Terrestrial signals direct from an external ariel - you do not need a seperate box provided you have a signal.

Tell us a bit more about this DVB-T Console?

Hi thanx for so quick responce to my problem.
the only 2 models used by Lithuanian provider TEO are : Createl (SCART conection) and Motorola (HDMI) as i spoke with their technical support they suggested taht mayge it is possible to connect tv signal cable (the one that transmits separated tv signal from modem) to Ethernet slot im VAIO.
But the question is will then this signal be recognised as tv signal?

if not then i suppose there is no other way to have DVB-T television unless there are some kind of adapters from scart connection/HDMI to analogue?
Hope to here from you soon as im totaly new in this area.

Damn that's pretty cool!

Seems to me it's some sort of internet enabled device which downloads programmes when you ask for them?

As Blencogo says there's no HDMI in on this machine.
