Desktop Search

[apierc1]

So, I bought and installed Office 2007 with OneNote, now one note seems ok, but it kept begging me to download desktop search, so begrudingly I did, why oh why would Microsoft make such a useless pointless search tool??!! Is it only capable of serarching the desktop items? How blooming pointless, and it tries to take over eindow searches it's really annoying and completely pointless.

Thank you,

Andy

don't fight it! learn to use it. it's a massive productivity leap after the brief learning curve, but it's integrated much better in vista than xp. bind it to a hotkey. i belive there is an option to re-enable old-style windows search, but not used the XP version since it was still beta.

hth!
