Hi there
the laptop came with Media Center.
Since I needed domain support I installed XP Pro from scratch.
I still can't find USB drivers (marked with yellow in device manager), so the internal hub is not working, at all (hw fault maybe?)
Someone can please help?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Hi moneyshot and welcome to Club Vaio.
Not quite sure what you have already tried!
Have you downloaded the Preinstalled Drivers and Preinstalled Utilities from Sony Support AR21S - extract the Drivers into a new directory C:\Drivers and manually try to install the drivers from Device Manager (right-click on the ones with a yellow warning and choose Update Driver) by saying you have the disc and browsing to C:\Drivers? All the Drivers, including the Chipset drivers should be present and correct.
Just give us a brief idea of what else you have tried.

Hey, it's working now 🙂
I deleted the device from device manager, restarted the OS and now it works...
Sorry!
Thanks,

Hmmmmmmmmm.....
Looks like you have tried most things.
Let's see if anyone else has any ideas but it could be hardware. How many USB controllers are showing up? Is the Enhanced Controller showing?
The drivers are just XP sp2 generic drivers
usbhub.sys
usbport.sys
usbuhci.sys
usbui.sys/dll
usbehci.sys (enhanced)
hccoin.dll (enhanced)
