2 artists instead of one

Hi, could anyone tell me why when i transfer music of a certain artist onto my VP then maybe in a couple of days put some more music on it by the same artist it comes up as 2 names instead of one? its nothing to do with spelling, the name is exactly the same.....

Maybe blank spaces at the end of the name.
Or upper case differences.

i used to get exactly the same problem with artists and individual songs.
still dont know why.
i just started renaming everything with copy-paste so i can be sure and it worked fine when i transfered them again...

thanks man, it worked a treat. Now i can get on with loading the thing with music until real player decides to support our little piece of hardware, i think its by far the best i really hope they do...:smileygrin:
