Hi, Sony,
When I click 'Pair' on Samsung TV QLED 4K Q70T, then the headset simply turns off.
I tried to turn off the headset and the TV multiple time, but nothing worked.
The headset used to work, although bad, in the past, but now it does not work with the TV at all. I think I observe this behavior for last 6 or so months. Both devices seem to have the most recent firmware updates on them.
Is there a way to troubleshoot it and perhaps release a firmware update to fix this?
Thank you.
Hey @Dimitrius_Dm
How about its behaviour with other devices? (ex. your phone?)
Also, have you tried resetting and initializing the headset?
Hi, there,
Thank you for replying.
It seems to be working well with other devices. It is only that the connection with the TV-set drops. I have not tried to reset the device. Can I do a factory reset of the headset? I assume I can, but I have not done it before.
If by initialising you mean to make the TV forget the headset and re-pair again, then yes, I have, but unfortunately to no avail.
Hey @Dimitrius_Dm
You can try resetting and initializing (factory reset) to the headset and try again

Initialize: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wh1000xm4/v1/en/contents/TP0002752746.html
Also, make sure that its firmware is up-to-date: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/wireless-headphones-bluetooth-headphones/wh-1000xm4/softw...
