Hi every one, I have a c5 Ultra device. White and yellow spots appeared on the screen by the time, like some other c5 devices. One of my friend told me that "I have the same problem but it is a cronic problem for theese devices, If you have guarentee send it to Sony Mobile repair" After than I had sent my 2 years guarenteed device to reapair. Which is "Teleservice International" (Located in Turkey). They told me that there is a small crack on the case because of that your device is out of guarantee. This small crack appeared 3 months later from the white and yellow spots had occured. I had accepted that this small crack is my fault. So I don't want u to change the case by guarantee. I will pay it's cost but the screen is not my fault. Why should I pay for a common screen problem?
After that conversion, I had contact with Sony Experia Turkey Call Center and they told me there is nothing to do for that. You can see the pictures and the service report at attachment. One other interesting thing is at service report the fault descriptions are like that:
1)Colour Problem (thats my problem)
2)Self power of (there is no self power of, I just told them under 10%-5% charge, the device suddenly out of buttery and shut down)
3)There is a problem at the back case
4)There is a problem at the back case
5)There is a problem at the back case
6)There is a problem at the back case (why 4 times )
7)Crack On the Screen ( please tell me can u see any crack on the screen? I will send the device for expert anywhere in the world but there is no crack on the screen. U can see the crack near the power button)

based on the pictures it seems that you sat on the phone as it looks slightly bent, also the housing can't crack on it's own, there's no way for the phone to overheat as if it gets too hot it will shutdown; that's my opinion, you could place the phone on a flat surface first screen down take a side picture and then flip it over, post them here.
Keep in mind that this is a global user based forum, only your Local support can help you with this issue.
As you can see there is no bending. I accept that the housing can't crack on it's own. I had contacted with Local Support but they didn't find a solution. I wanna say that the screen problem had occured before the crack. I accept this crack is not under guarantee but the screen colour problem is not my fault and it should be under guarentee. May be you will give me an idea about which way to go?

i understand this is beyond frustrating. I have too experienced this with sony service centers. unfortunately, there is nothing we can do here in the forum, however, even if there is damage on the device they should repair it with a fee. have you tried with other service centers?
