Hi,

I've bought the BDV-E370 Blu-Ray and AV system which is compatible with a DLNA server.

I have a Bravia EX37-503U which I set-up with Mezzmo to connect to my media.

As recommended in the Sony store, I have moved the Sony Dongle from the TV to the AV.

I've updated the AV firmware using a burned CD.

It can see the Mezzmo, but cannot play the music as says 'file is corrupted or the music file is not supported'

Do I need a different DLNA server to work with the BDV-E370, or is there a setting on the AV or Mezzmo I need to do.

Could give Serviio a go instead of Mezzmo?

What muisc file formats are you using? mp3?

It detects and plays mp3's ok

What it can see but not display album covers or files is MPEG-4 audio files.

Serviio sould be able to transcode pretty much anything on the fly.

I've downloaded Seriio and selected Sony BD Player as the renderer.

I've mapped the folder, but it can only display and play mp3.

Are they copy protected AAC files (MPEG 4=AAC?) in which case it might struggle..

Looking at the 'get info' they are shown as AAC and m4a but I don't think they are protected. They are from my purchased CD's (not downloads).

And they work fine with Mezzmo to my Bravia TV and using flowserver to my Pure device.

Wow, BRAVIA is normally even more picky with codecs than Blu-ray! Not sure, maybe someone else has an idea? Maybe try doing a full reset of the device, see if its a glitch somewhere thats causing it...

Please remember Mezzmo sets up profiles for each product, please ensure you use the Bluray Divx profile for the E370. Also as you have moved the dongle from a previous product ensure you delete all from device list and refresh, the dongle retains its Mac address and this could cause problems

I did set-up the dongle for the new device but you were right about the profile. I was using generic (which did work with the Bravia) so tried Sony BDP (Pal) which works.
