TV KDL-42W653A Has update Support now ended?

HI, Can anyone here please tell me if all support for this TV has now ended, as i haven't recived any updates for it since november 2015.

Hi there

In regards to the lack of firmware updates - this indicates that the TV is functioning as per design. To answer your question about support on a more broader scale:

Bug Fixes – Sony does not have a time limit in which it stops fixing major bugs and other issues.

Apps – As time goes on, some 3rd party providers of apps may decide to stop supporting their apps. This goes for both Android and non-Android based TVs. This is something that Sony (as well as other manufacturers) have little control over. However, with Android TVs there is a large development community as well as a larger range of choice.

HI,Quinnicus i know Sony never have a time frame as such but since iv'e had my TV always normally received updates for it at least every 2-3 months or so which made me start wonder a bit about it's support life.
