topic progs missing from epg in Other TVs

Just got a new KDL-32W654. When i go into the epg the program info is missing from a lot of the channels. It just says 'no event information '. It has been like it for a week or so and there was an update this morning, which i had hoped would solve the issue. It hasn't. Obviously this is extremely inconvenient. If i select one of these channels, the prob shows fine and when i then go back into the epg, the info for that channel is displayed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there

Try the following:

Unplug aerial cable

Do a full channel re-scan without the aerial cable plugged in (once done, all channels will be cleared)

Turn TV off

Plug aerial cable back in, and turn TV on

Do a full channel rescan.

Hopefully after that, all should be fine.

If not, are the missing information from the channels on the same multiplex, See HERE for more details. If so, try manually tuning them in, see HERE for more information.

Hope that helps.

EDIT: Whilst your at it, check the condition of your aerial cable. If its old and ratty, replace it.
