HI there

According to this manual : Here

The 3D transmitter works on Infrared (IR) signal

According to the TDG-BR750 manual : Here

The 3D glasses receive an IR signal from a transmitter

So both work in conjunction with each-other - A sender and a receiver. If you purchase a product over the internet you have a 7 day long distance selling legislation.
