The unfortunate thing is it can pre-loaded with vista, meaning i have important software I cannot load on i now. Does anyone have information how i can downgrade my VGN-N21E to XP? I have the XP pro cd, but vey little computer knowledge with regards to drivers etc. Sorry i'm a bit of a laptop idiot.
Cheers,
JB

Thu, 31 May 2007 12:33:46 GMT https://community.sony.si/t5/pcs-accessories/vista-to-xp-on-vgn-n21e/m-p/91355#M75703 jbev 2007-05-31T12:33:46Z https://community.sony.si/t5/pcs-accessories/vista-to-xp-on-vgn-n21e/m-p/91360#M75704

Hi JB and welcome to Club Vaio.

It is not straightforward and there have been some problems doing this with the N21-Series Vaios.

Have a look through THIS RECENT THREAD by costasp - it is for the AR31M Vaio but the process will be similar.

You will need to use the N11S-series XP Drivers and XP Utilities from Sony Vaio-Link Downloads

Thu, 31 May 2007 13:04:42 GMT https://community.sony.si/t5/pcs-accessories/vista-to-xp-on-vgn-n21e/m-p/91360#M75704 Blencogo 2007-05-31T13:04:42Z
