Hi there,
I've got two strange power problems on my fe21m;

- when my battery is at 40% for example and I plug my laptop in the socket, it charges in reverse. so in stead of going from 40 to 41 to 42 it indicates 40 to 39 to 38 and so on then it remains at 0 % and eventually changes into 100%. Obviously this is a problem because when it's been charging for an hour and faultly indicates 4% it really thinks it's just that and goes straight into hibernation if I unplug... very annoying!
any ideas if this is a hardware or software problem? (my laptop's warranty just expired...)

- secondly, I found out that if my Laptop is plugged in, the little screws on the bottom (for example the ones in the harddisk cover) give little constant electric shocks... They're too little to feel with your fingers but if I have it in my lap with shorts (bare legs) it's a very unpleasant feeling...
is this normal??

hope you can help as these are quite annoying little faults,
Cheers!

I would personally say that this is definately not normal especially with the shocks. I suggest that you claim on the warrenty and get it fixed.

As Matt says, that could be dangerous and I'd definately contact VAIO-Link.
