Hey out there!

Again another question about my new AR-31M:
Is it possible to attach a notebook lock such as this one to the vaio?

Notebook Lock

There is a statement that the notebook needs a "Standard Lock Slot". Does the vaio have anything like that? I didn't found anything except one small hole on the left side next to the
dvd/rw combo drive...

Edit:
I've got another question too:
After buying this great Notebook i'm quite poor now
Is it possible to run it with another 19V Power Supply?
Such as this one
I mean the original one is shipped with the notebook, but i want to buy an additional one
for traveling.

Hope someone can help me.

yes it would appear that the security slot is to the front of the dc/dvd drive on the left of your AR..

I'm guessing the casing is the same on the AR31M as is is on the AR21S so apologies if it isn't.

There's a Security Slot on the left hand side just below the Blu-ray Disc sticker. I have no idea if it's standard though.

Hi TheViper,

The security slot on your model and all Vaio Notebooks, to my knowledge, is a standard Kensington security slot so yes the one in the link that you provided will work.
