      <title>Issue with WLAN on new AR series Notebook</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Howdy my Vaio is practically fresh out of the box a mere two weeks old. I have a belkin router installed and have been happily wirelss using my home W/Network for the last ten days. However when I got home today I had no connection to the internet so I went to my networks and it cannot find any?&lt;BR /&gt;I have taken the following action:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Reboot&lt;BR /&gt;Reboot switch of WLAN switch back on WLAN (is lit up seems to think its working.&lt;BR /&gt;Disabled LAN and left only WLAN selected&lt;BR /&gt;Called my internet provider - no issue.&lt;BR /&gt;Connected Notebook via cable - no issue full internet connectivity.&lt;BR /&gt;Connected via ancillary laptop (Dell) to router - no issue found home network.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am out of self examination ideas. I think the WLAN is busted. Any thoughts or advice from you guys?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;TCG&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have AR-31S and similar problems... wifi constantly drops. The workaround is to "diagnose" every 30 minutes, which gets pretty boring.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It's much more fun if you come out of standyby and there are *no* wifi networks listed. You have to "disable" the wifi hardware, then re-enable it again (if you can find where network interfaces are in vista).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;seems this will only get fixed in a few months with SP1, along with the missing IR after standby/hibernate.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hth&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
