black screen after closing lid

Hello,

Whene i closing my lid and opening it again my screen is black. I have to restart the laptop to get the screen back.

I have a vaio AR11B with Vista Ultimate.

Have tryd the latest driver for nvidia but dosent help.

And theres seams to be no new bios to download to fix this problem ither..

what sould i do? 😕

There is a fix for this.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937500

But you have to contact Microsoft Support to get the download.

If you don't want to bother for now, the Vista SP2 will have the update for this problem.

There is also a fix if you find that you loose your wireless connecion occasionally.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/933872 and you don't need to contact Microsoft Support.

I'm fairly certain there's a website where people who've had to contact Microsoft for a hotfix have been posting them so everyone can download them without having to waste money calling Microsoft. I'd have looked up the address but Club VAIO is one of only a few sites I can access tonight.
