vgn-bx195sp won't power up

A laptop at work has stopped powering up. When I press the "on" button nothing happens, I've held the button down for 10 seconds still nothing. Swapped the battery with a working laptop - nothing. I've removed the RAM, HDD and optical drive and tried again, nothing. Tried it on mains with and without battery - nothing.

Is there anything else I can try? It's just out of warranty.

At the moment the battery charging light is flashin but that's it.

Try, if you've not done so already, disconnecting the ac-power, remove the battery and press and hold the power button for a minute to discharge any remaining electric charge, then reconnect the power supply and try to start your vaio..

If that does not help, then either contact Sony for a repair, or, you could see if a local PC repairer in your are can repair it for you. Make sure you get a quote first though..
