I'm in the USA right now (not returning to London for another 6 months) and my VGN-A417s has died on me. I know it's the motherboard and would like to have it replaced. Sony US have been unable to help me (as European model). Does anyone know where I could either get a replacement motherboard or where I can send my laptop to to be replaced? I do have the extended 3 year warranty (purchased 06/2005). This happened back in March have since switched to HP notebooks.

Thanks.

Sun, 16 Sep 2007 12:35:13 GMT Patlabor 2007-09-16T12:35:13Z https://community.sony.si/t5/pcs-accessories/replacement-motherboard-vgn-a417s/m-p/145335#M69261

I hope someone can point me in the right direction.
