VAIO Smart Network not working in Windows 7 RC & Windows XP Ultimate Problems

Hey all.I have a VGN-NS10E and I have two problems. The First problem is that:

I recently installed Windows XP Ultimate (http://www.winxpu.info) onto a 9GB partition (not the recovery one) i created and it installed successfully but when it booted up it crashes and restarts after it come up to the XP logo and repeated this non stop. I have no idea why it did it so i decieded to install Windows 7 RC on the 9GB partition and it works well but this lead to my second problem which is:

After installing Smart Network on 7 every time 7 starts up and shows the desktop it loads but you can't do anything with it since it come up as only a box with vertical lines and a rectangle comes up.

Any ideas to solve the problem

I can't turn on WWAN on my SZ71

Anybody solved this?.

Hi Mattie and welcome.

After installing Smart Network on 7 every time 7 starts up and shows the desktop it loads but you can't do anything with it since it come up as only a box with vertical lines and a rectangle comes up.

This is a shot in the dark, but I assume that you have installed all of the Vista drivers and utilities that came pre-installed on your model. Smart Network may have dependencies...
