Hi all!

glad to inform the problem has been solved!
The actual solution was quite simple: I reset the wifi router to factory
settings, set exactly the same ssid, passphrase, security method and
suddenly it works!

I have originally set up this router some three years ago, so I really don't
know now what the hell did I do to make it visible and working fine for my
vaio under windows control and not visible at all for browser application hidden
under WEB button on the keyboard. Perphaps I should have copied these settings
and sell them for big bucks as a perfect wireless secuirty , well they're
gone now.

Thanks for Your input Rich912!,
I hope this is the last time I have any problem with this vaio.
Now looking for quick way to relieve windows from some useless apps that are put
into memory after startup, I am not satisfied with the speed of it

Best Regards,
Marcin

Hi there!

I just got myself a first vaio ever, the cheaper one NW21MF and it all looks pretty
fabulous, except for one tiny thing, that spoils overall outlook succesfully..

The WEB button is supposed to summon just simple browser to be used with wireless
network access points without starting windows. It starts up ok, but I cannot find
my own wifi access point on the list when scanning for it. Vaio finds all other
access points nearby, but not mine, which I am using normally and without any
problems while in windows. This is very strange for me, but maybe someone here
has encountered such a problem himself and has got a solution? Please let me
know if You have any idea how to sort this out.

Best Regards,
Marcin
