Dark prints after Windows 7 upgrade

Hi,

I ran the upgrade option from Vista to Windows 7 to retain factory settings on my FW31E. Everything was fine except for a flicker on the display. Downloaded and ran the display upgrade from Sony's website. Now my prints are coming out too dark and with a red cast. How do I remove the driver without losing my display?

Hi Philla and welcome.

It is more likely to be the printer driver at fault. What printer are you using and have you tried reinstalling the printer driver?

Hi and thanks for responding.

The printer is a Canon iP5300 upgraded to W7 drivers.

Hi Blencogo,

Wonder whether this was a graphics card driver problem? In daylight noticed the display was also way too dark. Needed to print urgently, so ran a clean install over the top which resolved colour management/printer problems but raised other issues. Will start a new thread.
