I find weird that you get that error on the first boot and the recovery shouldn't really help in that case, but it doesn't hurt trying.<BR /><BR />So you have to press F10 which the VAIO logo is shown right after you turn the laptop on, the rest of the process is pretty easy to follow but I'll help you if you run into troubles.<BR /><BR />If restoring the software doesn't work you should get it back to the store (within a month) and they will give you a new one back.
