I own a sony vaio laptop with a matsushita blu ray drive. The problem is that someone has tried taking a cd out of drive incorrectly which has resulted in the plastic spool that holds the cd in place to snap in half. After searching all day for this as a spare part im still none the wiser even after a long call to panasonic. Dont want to buy another drive either as there in excess of £300 anyone got any suggestions on obtaining this part or will i need an entirely new drive?
