Noise from my new vaio :-(

Hi there
I have bought a new VAIO VGN-NW21JF, and it makes a strange noise. Do any of you know, if this noise is on all the vaio's? I haw bought mine from an internetshop, at will only return it, if i know, that the new one i recieve is more quiet.
The sound is always there, when i am on the internet. Some times, when i only have word open. It is wery difficult to describe a sound in words, but here goes nothing:
it's a uuUUUUuu pause uuUUUUuu pause and so on. every other second. When i have the TV on, the noise i so low, that i can not hear it.
Sorry for my poor english - no forums on danish
Hope, anyone can tell me, if the sound is normal?

i got the same problem with my new VPCF11Z1E/BI, and don't know what to do

Hmm. Strange. I really hope, that someone can tell me, if the sound is normal. Othervise i would have to wait for a new Vaio, and in my work i need my PC every day.

As you say, it is very difficult to describe a noise. Does it sound like the fan?
