Hello,
I've been waiting since June for 22 october to come so that sony will release the Nvidia vaio drivers, but the support page for my model ar71s remain unchanged please if anyone has any idea of where and even if there are such drivers to share tnx verry much in advance

i am trying to find drivers too. not only Sony discontinued the AR series but there is not software support

Hi Mark.

Presumably you are looking for a 32-bit updated driver for the nVidia Go 8600M?

It is not clear when Sony will release an updated driver - in the meantime use this one: -

http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers/vista/176.37

Click on where it says "Click here to download driver and INF files" and on the next page at the bottom where it says "Click here to download the requested driver".

Download the .EXE file to where you can find it and just RUN.

Ye its not nice from sony to just stop supporting something, you know i have a sony ericsson s302 and somehow it happens that this model and 1 more only dont have support now my ar71s which
is not a bad or cheep laptop 😞 well ... just for you to know if it helps
currently i'm using Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate version: 6.1.7600 and for video drivers i use
DriverVersion: 8.15.11.9038 and it works almost fine. With previous versions of windows 7 i used to get the blue screen after installing those drivers but somehow with this one it works all fine exept i think there might be like 10 or 15% improovment or so with original vaio windows 7 drivers (btw the driver version i have is downloaded directly from the site of Nvidia
as windows 7 64bit drivers)
will be gratfull if you hsave any new info on the case to pm me or just post it here because i might miss something

Hi there
I also have a Vaio ar71S and unfortunately everything seems to go wrong with it. At the moment I am having massive problems in starting it. It keeps crashing and I have this blue screen even before I go to log on page. It is saying hardware error and when I actually managed to start it, the screen is becoming all black for a few seconds and then when it comes back to normal it says the video driver just recovered from an error. I am not sure what the problem is and I was wondering whether any of you are having similar problems with your vaio and also I was wondering whether changing the driver is supposed to help with this problem. I am still using vista and not windows 7. All your help will be greatly appreciated.
