Thanks Thalamus. I knew where the HDD was I just didnt know which screws to remove. I figured it out from those pics.

I have a few more quick questions. The drive I ordered is sata 2 (Hitachi travel star 7200rpm 500GB) this will be replacing the fujitsu sata 1 hdd (160GB)will I have any issues with backwards compatibility?

Also where can I get some more HDD screws (the ones which screw into the bottom of the drive to hold it in place) for my AR11M?

Hello

I have all the original documentation that came with my VGN-AR11M (2006 model). I cant find any information about how to safely remove the currently installed hdd (as I am planning to upgrade it). I would be grateful if someone could post instructions or direct me to somewhere where I could get instructions.
