topic VPCCW1S1E/R hard drive issues in PCs & Accessories https://community.sony.si/t5/pcs-accessories/vpccw1s1e-r-hard-drive-issues/m-p/1271#M48834 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><P>I bought a VPCCW1S1E/R in November just gone and have until recently found it to be an amazing laptop.<BR />When I bought the laptop I did a clean install of windows 7 professional and partitioned the C drive to create another drive for my media files.<BR />Any movies files or music I have had on that drive played fine and never had issues until recently. Now when I try load a file from my F drive it freezes the entire laptop for a min or so and then will let me continue to use the browser or whatever Im doing but then freeze again.<BR />This happens when I try move files to an external drive as well.<BR />I have run checks for a virus to find nothing. Tried defragging the drive, still no luck.
